Cancervants PH is once again inviting everyone with kind
hearts to participate in their annual fundraising event called “Pay Ink Forward
2018: The Golden Movement.”
Cancer is known as one of the deadliest diseases in the
world. In the Philippines, cancer now ranks as the third leading cause of death
among children. It is estimated that there are 10 Filipino children who get
diagnosed with cancer everyday. Furthermore, it is no secret that diagnostic
tests and the treatments themselves are expensive even for the average Filipino
family.
In response to this prevailing problem, Cancervants PH
committed to help raise pediatric cancer awareness by thematically incorporating
the Gold Ribbon to different projects and subsidizing in the medical treatment
of children with cancer.
One of these projects is Pay Ink Forward (PIF), an artwork
auction that showcases not only the gold ribbon but also the creative prowess
of Filipino artists. This yearly auction gives opportunity to local artists to
give back and for Filipinos to help children with cancer in ways that will not
crack their pockets. Proceeds will go to the payment of hospital bills,
laboratory test fees, cancer drugs and more. This year marks the fourth time
that Cancervants PH will be holding of Pay Ink Forward.
The said exhibit will be held at Gateway Gallery (inside
Gateway Mall) in Cubao, Quezon City on December 9, 2018 (Sunday). Over 100
local artists have already sent their beautiful and heartwarming artworks
revolving around the central theme: the Gold Ribbon. PIF 2018 will also have
calligraphy workshops and musical acts from some of today’s famed OPM artists.
Pay Ink Forward 2018 is made possible thanks to our local artists,
Gateway, The Hungry Creatives, and NGP Integrated Marketing
Communications.
Give back this holiday season and empower Cancervants PH as
they continue to change more lives of children with cancer. For more
information about the org, visit the official Cancervants PH website www.cancervants.org.

While there's nothing wrong with keeping our exterior body parts well-maintained, let us not forget that there's something inside us that also needs attention. So, is there anything that we, women, need to learn about health and wellness? Apparently, yes.
Before you read on, this is not about sexual intercourse as the title could have suggested but this is about the expression of our femininity—the vagina. I know, most of you already cringed just by reading the V-word because it's a taboo subject. Can't blame you on that, girl but the fact that it is part of us and is the most significant element in a woman's body, we have to discuss it one way or the other.

Have you ever shopped at a store where everything they have is owned by celebrities? I haven't. Shopping a celebrity's brand isn't quite new, yes. But shopping at a store where all the items are owned by a pool of celebrities, that's new!
That's the concept of A-Listers.

F*Art, short term for Fashion and Art, is a boutique owned by the fashion designer Happy Andrada and her sister Viva Andrada O'Flynn.
Last June 10, they celebrated a decade of success in fashion and art. They've been in the business for so many years already that people already know who they are. They've been featured in a number of local magazines as you can see below. I'm amused to see a wall like that.
During the event, there were several performances of local artists, poetry readings, and cultural dances. Seldom times I see a boutique like this. Actually, it's the first I've seen. Though the sisters are based abroad, it's great that they aren't forgetful of their roots. They promote fashion AND art where Filipino culture is everywhere to be found.
If you want to visit their shop, you may go to 24 J. Erestain cor. K-1st St., Kamuning, Quezon city.

On June 14, I was privileged enough to be part of something great; something that will lead me to what we’ve all been aiming for—success.
John Calub was the keynote speaker of the event. I didn’t know him up to that point. He offers his years of street-smart experiences from starting out as an entry-level employee to CEO and President of his own training and coaching company, John Calub Training, Incorporated.
Now, he is expanding his business to the World Wide Web and launched Success Mall. To most of you who’d think that it’s just another online shop, well, it’s not.
Success mall aims to help people save and earn by providing them an online marketplace that gives them cash rebates from the lifetime purchases made by their referred shoppers and at the same time help companies promote their brand and sell their products to a global market faster through free word-of-mouse marketing.
Excited, yet?

There are only two things that impression could do: it will make or break you. People's impression of you will become your brand so you better make a good one or else start packing up.

NOTE: This is not only for Filipinos but for any nationalities out there also.
Yesterday, July 26, 2012, I had the chance to go to the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) to watch an Indie Film entitled “Bwakaw”.
If you are a fan of works of art; a frustrated artist; a desperate movie watcher; and a true Filipino, you should go to the CCP. CCP is located at Pasay, City near the Mall of Asia and Star City.
It’s my first time to visit the said theater because I was not fond of going to such events like that in my childhood days. But now that I got to see it, I promised myself that I’m going back there.
Honestly, I was so amazed by the fact that Filipinos are great filmmakers; Filipinos are very talented and creative. Why? Try to watch at least one film and you’ll find the answer!
(Actually, the paragraphs above are from my original post here)
This is what I wore to the Cinemalaya 2012. Yes I know, my outfit is just another simple get-up compared to others who came. Honestly, I didn't have much time choosing clothes that I was going to wear.
