Love, love, love. Have you ever felt that moment when you really want to shout because of the love and happiness that is overcoming you? Oh, how great it is to fall in love. At the right time. With the right person.
Earlier this afternoon, I watched this series from a local noon time show which we call here in the Philippines as Kalyeserye. The series revolves on the love story of a guy named Alden and the girl known as Yaya Dub. If you're from the Philippines, you would totally get me why I feel so kilig every time I see them. The show reminds us that when it comes to love, we should take it slow and wait for the right time. Here, the not-so-antagonist, Lola ni Dora, keeps on making challenges to the loveteam to test how true their love for each other is.
All they want is a happy ever after.
Just like all the couples who will soon meet at the altar and promise to God that in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, 'til death do they part. Oh, weddings.
Whenever I encounter a topic about weddings, I always look forward to what the bride has worn or will wear. Because of that, I became familiar with different designs so I can tell already what could possibly be the trend of wedding dresses 2016.
Seeing numerous styles of gowns in a wedding, I can see that lace wedding dresses could totally top the list any time soon! Well, why not? Its classic and sophisticated look surely catches every bride's taste. Then I found out that Landybridal has stylish and glamorous designs of wedding dresses which a girl could ask for.

Honey, I promise to give you the freedom to be a successful girl...
But know this, in this journey, I will hold your hand. I will always be there.
So don't be afraid to follow your dreams and all the sacrifices you've made.
This is one of the most touching and sincere vows I've heard. Oh weddings. I never get tired of watching wedding videos. Every time I get to see one, I also get to hear new stories of two persons who are truly, madly, and deeply in love with each other. I feel like I'm in a new place. A place where everything seems so perfect.
As a fan of fairy-tales, I've always dreamed of being a princess but, I know I won't be. Well, perhaps in the arms of my future husband (cheesy haha). Okay, stop this cheesiness and let's get serious here, okay? If you ask me what kind of wedding I'd like to have, I would say that it would be a garden or a beach wedding. Why not? I think the ambiance adds sweetness to that special event, isn't it? Whenever I see such weddings, I can't help but let my romantic side out. And since weddings in the sand are the trends now, maybe this is the perfect time to share with you some beach wedding dresses I found in Cocomelody.

They say, when you start working straight from college (I mean really straight), everything will go on and on and on... and on. You will not gonna experience so many things that your college buddies who chose to take a time off first before working.
That sun-kissed tan from the beach... that DIY workshop you've been wanting to attend to... that "me time" somewhere while reading a good book... or those days spending for your blog. Oh man, you're gonna miss these so bad.
When I was in college, I had the urge in my vein to work already after I stepped on that center stage. And fortunately, I was offered immediately, even before I graduate, to work in a prestigious company that everybody (okay, most) in my field dreams of.
On my first day, I was this excited girl who can't wait to see her own desk and meet new people from a not-so-strange environment. First few weeks has gone by so fast. But the succeeding weeks, the demanding schedule and tasks followed me. I realized, what people keeps saying about working after college is true. Once you're trapped in your chair and computer, you no longer have the time to do the things you want like before. No time excuse has become my usual line whenever I'm asked to hang out.
Heck it's hard to work.
I've been in this stage where I really want to stop for a moment and... go home. Every time I tell this to people, they always advise me to take a break. It sounds easy but it's really hard to do. Knowing that our schedule should be flexible and we're not tied to a strict Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM, our work really demands us to be in the office 24/7. I am not overreacting. Literally, 24/7. And I know that. Life in Media is very demanding and most of the time, exhausting. #TheTruthAboutOurWork
Although it's not easy for me to juggle every single day away from my family and the things I love, at the end of the day, there is something that is pulling me to stay still. My dreams. My goals.
Whenever I feel down and unmotivated, I always keep myself thinking what led me here and followed by why am I here. My dreams and goals keep me going through that tiny hole of the needle. And even if it's really hard, I have to be strong and positive to keep going.
I have to work hard to play hard. I know it's hard at first but eventually, everything will pay off.
No one made a difference by staying in their comfort zone.
The girl once said hi to the world,
It asked her,
Was it nice to meet me?
She answered,
Of course! I'm so glad to meet you!

If you would ask me what I'd rather wear during the day (or night), it would be dresses! I used to be the tee-and-jeans-kind-of-girl, but when I discovered the comfort powers of dresses and skirts, I'd have to make my jeans miss me a little. Knowing that my style is very girly, a perfect semi-formal dress from cocomelody would really save the day.
Here are the reasons why I love the dresses from cocomelody:
I can definitely wear the dress from day to night. This is one factor I always consider when buying a clothing item, especially if it's a dress. Aside from wanting to save money, I really opt for something that I can wear anywhere. Say I have a meeting in the morning and an event to go to in the evening, I don't want to bring tons of clothes and change 'no. I want a dress that is perfect for any occasion so I can wear it most of the time.
I can save up as much as 20% every now and then. Now, who does not want to save money from shopping? Someone from the back whispers wait, is that even possible? Well... of course! Aside from cocomelody's cheap semi-formal dresses, you also get to enjoy a 20% discount on all of their collection. What a find!
Last, they are perfect for all ages! Whether you're a working girl or a youngster, cocomelody has everything you want. It's good to know that their products choose no one which is an important thing to consider when shopping for dresses. Remember: What you wear defines your age. Cocomelody has the power to make you look good and feel good when you wear their dresses. These semi formal dresses for teens and women are made perfectly to suit everyone's taste.

Let me start this with a catchy line from the oh-so-famous-young adult book-turned movie, The Fault in Our Stars:
"If you want to see the rainbow, you'd have to deal with the rain first."
So why did I come up to this thought? Well, as quite obvious as it may seem, that is how I am feeling as I write this after I watched the film. Again. Or so I thought.
There was a time when I caught myself staring blankly at the window beside my desk, watching the cars down pass by and observe the rusting roofs from above. Few minutes has gone by, still, my mind wanders everywhere. To my dismay, I found nothing but emptiness. I realized, I'm in a room where everyone calls it a "home" but not really there, then I found myself lost.
Maybe it's something I have to get through and I know, there's something out there that will lead the way to that rainbow.
Even now, I am not pretty sure where this post is going so I'd have to admit that this has got to be one of the non-sense posts I have ever made. See how lost I am? I can't even make a decent article to begin with. So I have decided to just focus on my outfit, which a "fashion blogger" is expected to do, right? I somehow hate to say that. Haha!
I wore this during the Us the Duo Tour in Manila to do my good sister duties by accompanying my sister who's drooling over to see them. If you happen to know them, then good for you. If not, (a little) shame on you dear. 'Cause, how could you? They are the two awesome persons from different sides of the world pulled together by their love for music in which leads them to becoming best friends and turns out, after some years, husband and wife. Just search them, please.
Anyway, I can't believe I pulled out this jacket from my closet after a long time. Would you believe that this jacket has been with me for 10 years already? I folded its sleeves because obviously, it's bitin. Haha!

After several years of hiding behind the walls of world wide web, I can now say that, this blog reaches my Facebook. Finally! Yes, I have already decided to share my blog to my other social media accounts. It might sound a little crazy but that's all true.
Most of the people I met through blogging told me that I surprised them in a lot of things. Here are the reasons:
#1. I don't share my blog on my Facebook. Because of that, I got a lot of whys. Well, the main reason why I do not publicize my blog on Facebook is that, there are lots of people who can see it. But that's the purpose of blogging, right? I have a lot of friends on Facebook, each has a different personality. Maybe I'm too shy to share my outfit posts. Or maybe, I was afraid to be judged. Contrary to what a blogger needs— a large audience—I made it a point not to publicize my blog because I think, it does not have to be that way and that, it would be successful without sharing it on Facebook. Then, it happened.
#2. Only few know about my blog. I'm talking about the people I meet in school, work, and everything that is related to my personal life. And when someone finds out about it, I just wanted to run away from them. 'Cause really, I don't know what to do. Lol. But when someone from school came to me and said that she knows my blog, I was like, girl are you serious? How did you freakin' find out?! Hahaha! But to tell you honestly, it feels good to hear that.
#3. I have no Instagram. Some, okay, most of the people who know that I am a blogger were surprised to hear that I have no Instagram. I remember one time when someone I met from a shoot I have collaborated with almost shouted in the room are you serious?! Oh yes I am. Very. No doubt. So why don't I have an Instagram? Every time I get this question, I always give the same answer: I don't want to get addicted to it. I noticed that most people with IG were caged to their phones 24/7, before eating, they do every styling they know and sometimes, it gets to the point where they do crazy things just to get that perfect shot to be Instagram-worthy. I don't have anything against with people who loves Instagram. I just don't want that to happen to me. But there came a time when I asked myself, what if I have an Instagram? Sure, I'll have another set of followers. I'll gain more clients. And I'll get the exposure all bloggers want. Then I realized the importance of IG to every blogger, so I have decided to make one. Some brands prefer to have a lot of media platforms, especially Instagram.
Blogging helped me in so many ways. It made me realize who I really am and what I can do. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and meet great people. This blog has opened a lot of doors for me. So I am very thankful for keeping this blog. There's no reason for me to hide it. Once a secret remains not a secret anymore.

Whether it's prom season or not, black ball dresses will never go out style. Just like what Taylor Swift says in her song, it never goes out of style.
With its sleek and timeless appeal, most girls prefer wearing black during events. Contrary to my personal style— girly and everything pastel— I challenged myself to try doing away with what I have become used to and try something new. I tried wearing the basics. And I don't regret shifting to black and whites. It made me feel more confident and matured.
And because I haven't posted anything for almost a month, I want to make it up to you. With this comeback post (Whoa, big word, huh?), I bring you the top three dresses from Pickedlooks which I personally chose. Pickedlooks is not a stranger to me anymore. I have already made several posts featuring them before. And I thought, why not make another one? They deserved to be featured again. I tell you, this store has everything you need. They have the trendiest designed gowns perfect for every event.
Not yet convinced? Well, below are just a few of their beautiful gowns for every beautiful girl like you! Let the gowns speak for me.
Trumpet/Mermaid Sweetheart Chiffon Sweep Train Split Front Prom Dresses. This has got to be my favorite among my choices. I love everything in this gown. It's very simple but very elegant. I wouldn't be surprised if everyone in the room gives you that oh-my-gosh stare when you wear this, 'cause really, who wouldn't?
Chiffon One Shoulder Sweep Train Sheath/Column Rhinestone Prom Dresses. One of the trendiest styles these days is the one-shoulder dress. No wonder why almost every girl chooses a one-shoulder dress because it is very appealing and looks sexy... and tall when worn. Plus the slit, oh my, you will get the attention you deserve on that night, girl!
What are you waiting for? Check out their site and fall in love with their designs! ♥

At this moment, I am still stuck in a phase where my mind grasps the thought that I cannot ask the driver for a student fare anymore and that, I will now enter the so-called real world.
Five days ago, I was with so many people dressed in identical caps and gowns at Manila Hotel to attend a very special event. And that day marks the end of my life at CEU.
It may be the end but I see it as a new beginning. Very cliche, I know. For us graduates, as we step at the center stage and take a bow, we welcome the new chapter of our lives. It may be thrilling because there are lots of competencies out there juggling that job interview you've been dreaming to have ever since and all you think is how you will ace that. Now, I am grateful to land a job in a well-known media company in the Philippines before I even graduate. Imagine, a college girl already has her job before her graduation. Lucky I am says other people because only few are given this chance but to me, it's not just luck that I have. I have my confidence and rosary with me. That's what keeps me achieving things I want.

If you know me well, you would be shocked if you see me wearing a bunch of accessories hanging on my neck or arms. You'd probably be surprised to know that I'm not fond of accessories because my style is very girly. The usual girly girl has always her dress, skirt, and necklace with her. But to me, I just have my necklace hidden in its box. Haha!
But then, like what I have said, my style is girly so I just can't take those accessories away from my closet. I need those, too. You know, for emergency purposes. Lol. And as summer starts, different styles of accessories come in the market. Just to help you out in finding high-quality shops online, I found a gorgeous selection of jewelry at ZALORA. Aside from its cute and elegant designs, the accessories are very much affordable! Trust me! I also thought of looking for shops that sell today's trendy necklaces such as chokers and quartz charms which I found at Copper and Accent Archive. Just in time for the summer trends, right?
These are the top three shops that I chose because they are very stylish yet affordable. :)
2. Copper
3. Zalora
