While there's nothing wrong with keeping our exterior body parts well-maintained, let us not forget that there's something inside us that also needs attention. So, is there anything that we, women, need to learn about health and wellness? Apparently, yes.
Before you read on, this is not about sexual intercourse as the title could have suggested but this is about the expression of our femininity—the vagina. I know, most of you already cringed just by reading the V-word because it's a taboo subject. Can't blame you on that, girl but the fact that it is part of us and is the most significant element in a woman's body, we have to discuss it one way or the other.

So, it's the time of the year again. Today marks my 23rd birthday and I'm not happy with it. Aside from getting a year older, I feel like, this year has become the most mundane and stagnant ever.

Have you ever shopped at a store where everything they have is owned by celebrities? I haven't. Shopping a celebrity's brand isn't quite new, yes. But shopping at a store where all the items are owned by a pool of celebrities, that's new!
That's the concept of A-Listers.

An unpredictable weather makes it hard for people to dress up. Whether it's gonna rain or not, you have to be your own forecaster to make sure your outfit suits the day. And because Manila weather is being bipolar these days, I made sure that what I wear could get through the sun and rain.

When I saw the mermaid dress trend, I thought it was something that's not for me. The style looks uncomfortable with its body-hugging pencil skirt but when I tried it, everything has changed. Seriously.
Contrary to my impressions before, the mermaid dress isn't hard to wear. I can move freely and comfortable. Especially this one from Gamiss, from the cotton fabric to the trendy stripes print, it's absolutely one of the best dresses I have. To be honest, I'm using this for like at least twice a month!

If you'd ask me to choose between a black and pink dress, I would obviously go for the latter. I've never been a fan of black or any dark-colored pieces. I always go for the light tones, pastel and of course, pink. So back then, I didn't understand why a little black dress is a wardrobe staple. I didn't understand why other ladies have the need to own one or two, until the day I have to wear one.
I have a lot of dresses but when a certain event I'm attending to has a black color-coded theme, I just realized I don't have anything to wear and it stressed the hell out of me 'cause hello, who wants to spend for something you know you don't like and won't use regularly, right? But girl, an LBD is a wardrobe essential. Why?
Three words: sleek, versatile and classic.
Like this swing dress I got from Rosegal. I'm actually surprised at how comfortable it is when worn. Though it's kind of long for me, it's still manageable. I like how the stripes give a shape to my body.

Korean fashion is almost everywhere. With the booming K-Pop and of course, Korean dramas, Filipinas have taken their fashion style to the next level.
I must admit, since I watched the Descendants of the Sun, I was totally hooked with Korean fashion. It's very cute, clean, chic and girly. Though this style might be a sore to some, still there are girls who'd like to pull it off and unleash the Korean in them. So, I've listed the basic must-have pieces to help you slay it like a true Korean fashion girl.

I'm not sure if you've heard cabbie hat online before but for sure you'll be familiarized with how it looks. When I was a kid, this was a hit ('90s kid here). Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Pussycat dolls, etc. wear these often.
That time, I called it a "French hat" until now. I'm quit surprised that there are still people who wear these kind of hats. I couldn't blame them though, 'cause it's stylish in a sense that would make you standout from a sea of bowler and fedoras. If you want to see more style, just visit Dresslily and indulge yourself.

While I constantly preach about failures being part of success, I'm sure that doesn't lessen the agony when dealing with it. But what I want is for you to feel at ease even in the smallest way possible. Because failure sucks, often times we hardly realize that there's also some goodness lying behind it.

Annyeong! Since K-dramas are all over here, I'm inspired to do a post on Korean fashion. Their style mostly rely on either cropped or over-sized tops and pair them with button down skirts. Cute is the perfect way to describe K-fashion.
So on this post, I'll round up a list of must-haves to pull off a Korean fashion.

I wouldn't consider wearing velvet outdated. Especially on holidays or on a special night, there's no better way of doing it than with velvet. Its classic luxe accent fascinates me in every way.
Although this trend is a bit hard to wear everywhere, there's still a way to pull it off and look more applicable to the place. With this romper, you could pair it with a denim jacket to make it look more casual. How about you, do you have ideas on how to style this velvet romper? :)

Call me odd but I was never a beach baby. I don't like the salty water nor the rocky sands but just this summer, I fell in love with the beach life just as much as I love the season.
And one reason that pulls me to the beach is the swimwear! I don't usually share photos of me on swimsuits but with this crochet bikini top, how couldn't I? It's too cute and trendy and reminds me of Coachella.

So, for you not to miss out all the fun, wear something comfortable. It's a theme park, girl. There are crazy rides and long walks waiting for you so what better way to slay them all than go for the tee, shorts, and sneakers combo? You could still be stylish in the simplest way.

Dressing for summer is the most fun and exciting thing to do. Because finally, you get to wear those sexy tops that have been hiding in your closet for months.
There are many wardrobe essentials for the season and on top of the list would be the cropped tops, off-shoulders and spaghetti straps— all things short to beat the heat. But summer wouldn't be complete without the floral prints, right? It's just the perfect season to wear the colorful petals in the streets because the print adds a vibrant and happy mood.
Aside from the cropped tops, co-ords, rompers, maxi, and casual dresses are season must-haves, too. So when I found out about Yoins.com, I instantly fell in love with their collection! Everything seems comfy and beautiful.
Yoins has a wide variety of clothing pieces that any fashion girl would love to have in her closet. From the classics to the trendiest pieces, they've got it all for you. Plus, they have great deal offers for you to save when shopping. Sounds great, right?

F*Art, short term for Fashion and Art, is a boutique owned by the fashion designer Happy Andrada and her sister Viva Andrada O'Flynn.
Last June 10, they celebrated a decade of success in fashion and art. They've been in the business for so many years already that people already know who they are. They've been featured in a number of local magazines as you can see below. I'm amused to see a wall like that.
During the event, there were several performances of local artists, poetry readings, and cultural dances. Seldom times I see a boutique like this. Actually, it's the first I've seen. Though the sisters are based abroad, it's great that they aren't forgetful of their roots. They promote fashion AND art where Filipino culture is everywhere to be found.
If you want to visit their shop, you may go to 24 J. Erestain cor. K-1st St., Kamuning, Quezon city.

On June 14, I was privileged enough to be part of something great; something that will lead me to what we’ve all been aiming for—success.
John Calub was the keynote speaker of the event. I didn’t know him up to that point. He offers his years of street-smart experiences from starting out as an entry-level employee to CEO and President of his own training and coaching company, John Calub Training, Incorporated.
Now, he is expanding his business to the World Wide Web and launched Success Mall. To most of you who’d think that it’s just another online shop, well, it’s not.
Success mall aims to help people save and earn by providing them an online marketplace that gives them cash rebates from the lifetime purchases made by their referred shoppers and at the same time help companies promote their brand and sell their products to a global market faster through free word-of-mouse marketing.
Excited, yet?

I find it quite hilarious to know that there's such thing as "millennial pink" but you know me, when it comes to pink, I take it very seriously.
I'm sure you've seen the color even if you haven't heard of it or didn't know it went by this name. Stylsitas are going crazy over this delightful hue, 'cause why not? From Glossier kits to Acne paper bags, the color is everywhere. So when I saw this moto jacket, I said I shouldn't let go of it. I should take it. So here I am, writing about how I love it!

Now that summer has officially ended here in Manila, it's time to put all the sunny dresses and bikinis together and make room for the wet season essentials aka the jackets. Here, I've listed down the four (4) kinds of jackets every woman should own.
DENIM
Denim would totally be the most famous and classic kind of jacket anyone could have. It's very versatile and could be paired with almost anything. This kind of jacket, for me, is the most essential of all.
Hey, leather jackets are not just for tough guys! We, ladies, can rock this style, too! However, this kind also comes with a twinkling price tag. Good thing, there are online shops that sells leather jackets at an affordable price.
HOODED
If you're not the type of gal who has always an umbrella with her, then this jacket is perfect for you!
BOMBER
Now, this one became (and still) a hype 'cause why not? It's very stylish and trendy. No wonder it has become a street wear essential.
What's your favorite on the list? Let me know below. :)

The rainy season is here, but that doesn't mean you have to let anything from a downpour to a light drizzle send your morning dressing routine into a tailspin.
I know figuring out what to wear on rainy days is much of a nightmare (that explains why I don't like raining) but you can get away with it by sporting the cutest raincoats that not only protect us from the crazy storms but also keep us looking stylish and chic despite the weather.
The jacket I'm wearing here is just one among the many choices from Shein.

One of the most embarrassing things to admit is having dandruff. No one really talks about it, but it's one that almost all of us will experience at some point in our lives.
I hate to admit it but I've been struggling with itchy and flaky scalp since high school. I'm not a firm believer of TV advertisements but in the hopes of being treated, trust me, I've already tried several anti-dandruff shampoos, thinking it would be gone for good. The result, it got worse.
Perhaps because of experimenting with different shampoos? But really, the question still lies, can dandruff be treated?

Before anything else, I'd like you to know that this is long and very personal so I don't expect you to read the whole post but it would really mean a lot to me if you'll stick with me 'til the end.
Late last year, I made a huge decision which led me to where I am today—almost quarter life crisis. Yikes. I didn't regret it though I had a lot of what-ifs: what if I did not quit? What if I choose the other one? What if I didn't aspire to be part of something great? Or what I thought was something great. Would it all make a difference?
I called myself a fool for trying so hard to be what I want to be and fail at it. I put myself down because I thought, I wasn't good enough. My fear came back. My fear of taking chances, taking risks and taking every possibility in the world to make my dream come true. I blamed other people for that mistake. I was so in denial. And the most painful part of the situation is knowing that I had no one to blame but myself because it was my choice. I chose to be there. I chose to do that. It's all me.
And that didn't stop there. Instead of getting back to my usual grind, I STOPPED CREATING. I just focused on my job. It was okay and involves everyday adrenaline, but I got so comfortable that I didn't bother to read anything, write on my blog and even reply to emails that could possibly lead to great opportunities (I'm really sorry for that). I was a rebel against myself and it's really frustrating the hell out of me.
And whenever I try to get back to my usual grind and do the things I really like, something slaps me to stay away from them. No matter how hard I try to stand up, something is pulling me down. Then one sunny afternoon, I read a newsletter from my email. It says all the things I was feeling since my project went down. It hits me so hard that it made me want to do crazy stuff again.
But you know what, in spite of all the things that happened, I know it was worth the risk. Because that's what I wanted. The project was gone in a flash but I quite found myself. I fell but I stood. I was hurt but now stronger. Getting back up for me was hard, though I'm still at a recovery point, I'm on my way back to where and who I was before this downfall came.
You see, if you're stuck in a situation where you think it's the end, well it's not.
There are people who are willing to help you, even unintentionally like what happened to me, thanks to that newsletter and the person who wrote it, and there are things around you that could get your feet kicking again. You just have to stay focus because most of the time, it's the little things that help us big time!
If you're going through something, do not hesitate to share them in the comments box below or send me an email, let's talk. Or if you don't want to talk, let me just listen. I could be your online friend. I could be your online sister. Promise, I'll reply to you if you want me to :)
And now let's talk about my outfit here. I've always loved the thought of wearing maxi dresses because they look so comfortable and classy. Mine was everything I have imagined it to be. This dress basically caught me because it's very girly and summery. I now have a go-to summer look. What's yours? :)

No, I'm not swinging a racket any time soon but I'm sure I'll always reserve a spot in my closet for almost-sportswear pieces.
I admit that sports is far beyond my interests but I have always admired how those athletes look in court slaying the game fashionably. Since I couldn't and ever would wear (I think) a game-ready outfit inside the court, why not just wear them off the court?
In this look, I opted to wear a tennis-inspired outfit with this white pleated skirt, a leather cap, a pair of white sneakers, and this uber cute fox shirt from Yoshop.
Cap from Dresslily | Fox Tee from Yoshop | Skirt from American Apparel | Shoes from Nike

There are only two things that impression could do: it will make or break you. People's impression of you will become your brand so you better make a good one or else start packing up.

Oversized jackets have been taking the center stage for quite a long time already and I don't think they have plans of stepping out any time soon despite the heat of our tropical climate.
I couldn't blame everyone for being so into this trend because they actually look cool. However, the jacket has always been paired with the same pieces— skinny jeans, boots, or sneakers. Still, I couldn't blame everyone, even I, am guilty of this way of styling, because they're actually the go-to pieces that are very easy to combine and pull off a rad look.
But if you want to step out of the bandwagon, you got to think of other ways to wear a jacket. In this case, I paired it with an A-line khaki skirt.

What could be better than an outfit that’s comfortable and actually stylish? Whether it's a combination of crisp white top and denim shorts or a cotton dress and sneakers, both of them will surely work if you opt for an oh-so simple look.
In this case, I belong to the latter part where a dress and a pair of white sneakers won me. I got this dress at Gamiss and I must say it's really worth the attention. I was able to move freely and comfortably in this dress. This is definitely one of the most wearable outfit I ever had.

For someone who loves to wear one-piece clothing all the time, spaghetti strap maxi dresses are not new to her. Usually, maxi dresses are mostly worn in summer. And since summer is fast approaching, what better way to spend it than slay it in style? To help you score the perfect dress, I’ve rounded up a list from YoShop.
